Milwaukee Road #261 Steam Excursion
Minneapolis, MN to Duluth, MN

On June 2, 2007 Milwaukee Road #261 departed Minneapolis, MN on its way to Duluth, MN.  The steam passenger excursion departed in very nice weather in Minneapolis, MN on Saturday morning.  However things changed rapidly as the train approached northern Minnesota.   The temperatures in Minneapolis were in the 70's and sunny.  Temps in Duluth were in the 50's and it was cloudy.  The steam train returned on Sunday June 3rd to Minneapolis in pretty much the same way.  The temps in Duluth were in the 50's and cloudy and by the time they arrived in Minneapolis it was sunny and in the 70's.
