From May 9-11, 2008 the Milwaukee Road #261 was under the control of about 45 photographers and railfans as part of photographers special that ran under the production of Pete Lerro Productions on the rails of the Twin Cities & Western Railroad.   The special included #261 pulling short revenue freight train and also a 6 car Milwaukee Road passenger car train.  Much of the action happened in and around Glencoe, MN.  
The photos below were taken Friday May 9th as #261 and the passenger train departed Minneapolis, MN and headed west towards Glencoe, Minnesota.

All of the shots below were taken in Glencoe, Minnesota during the Night Photo Session.  It was a long night but some nice shots were setup. 
Shots from Saturday May 10, 2008  Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it was cloudy in the morning and it rained most of the afternoon and evening.

Shots from Sunday May 11, 2008.  The weather was great, almost no clouds in the sky for the Passenger Train to run.
