Canadian Pacific #2816 "Breakfast for Learning" Steam Train across Canada. Part 1
In 2003 Canadian announced the once again the Canadian Pacific would be working with the "Breakfast for Learning" program in Canada. The "Breakfast for Learning" program provides breakfast for school children at school. A good breakfast has proven to be a great start to the day and keeps kids awake and alert for learning.
In June 2003 the Canadian Pacific #2816 "The Empress" would be pulling a special train for the "Breakfast for Learning" program. The train would make stops at cities across Canada where local people would be able to hear a concert and then make donations to the "Breakfast for Learning" Program.
The photos below are from June 2003 as the CPR #2816 pulled this special train from Thunder Bay, Ontario to Kenora, Ontario.
