Canadian Pacific Holiday Train The past several years the Canadian Pacific Railroad has run there "Holiday Train" across Canada and the United States. The train is brightly lit with 1000's of lights on the locomotive and all the cars. Plus there is a stage car where performers put on a 30 minute show for those who come out to see the train. The main purpose for the train is for those coming to see and hear the performers to bring food to donate to a local food pantry. Plus the railroad makes a cash donation to the food pantry also. In 2007 the CP Holiday arrived in Sturtevant, Wisconsin on Saturday December 8th. The weather was perfect for a Holiday train. There was about 8 inches of snow on the ground and as the train arrived it started to snow lightly. Almost Christmas Card like. Below are some shots from the 2007 Canadian Pacific Holiday Train.
