Chinese QJ 2-10-2 Doubleheader

September 17, 2006

On September 17, 2006 the Chinese QJ's doubleheaded to pull an excursion train from Davenport, IA to Muscatine, IA and return.  The weather wasn't quite as nice but still the clouds broke and the sun broke out several times.  However storms broke out while the train was in Muscatine and it rained hard.  This was the last passenger train pulled by the Chinese QJ's.  This excursion train was run on the tracks of the Iowa Chicago and Eastern railroad.  The two 2-10-2's will be stored in Newton, Iowa hoping to be sold and run again.
