North Platte Action

Action at North Platte, Nebraska

All of the photos were taken on July 27, 2005. They were all taken at Game Trail Road which is just west of North Platte. There is a 4-track mainline here. The line to the Powder River in Wyoming and the line to Cheyenne, WY run parallel here until they split about 3-4 miles west at Gibbon Jct.

All of the photos below were taken during about a 2 hour period during evening. It was one great place to see trains and ALOT of them
