Chinese QJ's Revenue Freight Photo Special
On Saturday and Sunday June 9-10, 2007 in cooperation with Henry Posner III, Iowa Interstate Railroad and SteamSpecials.com the Chinese QJ's were steamed up and pulled a revenue freight from Des Moines, Iowa to Council Bluffs, Iowa and returned on Sunday doing the same. Approx 35 railfans were a part of the paid photo charter and had the chance to see the QJ's pull a 4212 ton revenue freight from Des Moines to Council Bluffs. On Saturday the weather was great, not a cloud in the sky. Below are some photos from that great weekend of steam doubleheaded pulling revenue freight.
